Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of GasIko, the gas-business management platform for LPG dealers in Kenya. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

1. The service

GasIko provides point-of-sale, cylinder-inventory, M-Pesa reconciliation, reporting and SMS features for cooking-gas dealers. We may improve or change features over time to keep the product useful and secure.

2. Accounts & roles

The Shop Owner is responsible for the accounts they create (managers, attendants, drivers) and for keeping login details confidential. You are responsible for activity that happens under your accounts. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Acceptable use

Use GasIko only for lawful business purposes.
Do not attempt to break, overload, copy or resell the platform.
Only message customers who expect to hear from your shop; do not send unsolicited bulk SMS.

4. Pricing & billing

A one-off setup fee of KSh 1,000 applies, and your first month is free.
After the free month, the service is billed monthly per the plan you choose. You can upgrade as you add shops.
You may cancel anytime; the service continues until the end of the paid period.

5. Third-party costs (SMS & M-Pesa)

M-Pesa STK push is included. SMS receipts and debt reminders include 100 messages per month; beyond that, SMS is charged at KSh 1 per message. M-Pesa and SMS are delivered by third parties (Safaricom and a licensed SMS gateway) whose own charges and availability may apply.

6. Your data

Your business and customer records belong to you. We process them as described in our Privacy Policy. You may request an export of your data while your account is active.

7. Availability & liability

We work to keep GasIko available and accurate, but the service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for losses arising from third-party outages (such as M-Pesa or SMS network downtime) outside our control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Kenyan law.

8. Termination

You may stop using GasIko at any time. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms or that is used unlawfully, after reasonable notice where practical.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya.
